Financing mechanism relating to the co-operative societies’ productive sub-projects
The productive sub-project drawn up by the co-operative societies within the framework of their business plan is co-financed by three actors/stakeholders, namely: PIDMA, the co-operative society and the financial institution.
Right now, the distribution formula of such co-financing is as follows, pending any modifications envisaged with a view to facilitating the financing of co-operative societies’ productive sub-projects:
- PIDMA : State subsidies covering 50% of the costs of the Co-operative society’s business plan;
- Commercial banks: loan covering at most 40% of the business plan costs;
- Co-operative societies: contribution covering at most 10% of the business plan costs.
